So, I am cocooned here in my sixth month of quarantine and one of the things that i miss the most, other than pedicures, is going to the flea market. PQ (pre-quarantine), at least once a month, I would pack the doge into his pupsack and hit up one of Tokyo’s many outdoor rummage meccas.
As a statuesque foreigner browsing kimono with a muppet on my back, I get a lot of love and have even made a few glorious friends. I love learning about my new home through its hoarded vintage paraphernalia and the magpie in me loves all the shiny magic. Since traipsing about and buying silk and chachkies is currently verboten, I figured I would bring a flea market (i.e. Etsy) to you.
Today’s theme...Kitchen Witchery a` la Practical Magic. I remember reading an article about the set design in the late Victoria Magazine and falling head over heels in love.
